  • Embedded Controller Design using Microprocessors
  • Digital Process Control Systems and their Safety Concerns
  • Unmanned/Autonomous Transportation
  • Impact of Control Systems on Profitability and Cost Reduction

Educational Projects

  • Final Year Project: Design and Implementation of Locally Developed SCADA
Developing a PC Based SCADA system incorporating an HMI developed using Visual Basic 6.0. The integration of OPC server and other industrial standards were achieved by various DLL and API files. The system displays the data in realtime and the data logging facilities allows data to be stored on a MS SQL server. The data is coming from level and temperature transmitters and switches. A paper was also published in a local symposium discussing in detail the designing of a cheap and reliable SCADA system for small and medium sized industries.

  • Microprocessor Based Single Board Computer (Using 8051 platform)
  • Development of Stable Motor Speed Control model using Open Loop (PWM) system.
  • Stepper Motor Controller Design using 89c51 Microcontroller
  • Development of Simulation Board (Analog Computer) for PID tuning using OP-Amps.

Industrial Projects

  • Designing and Commissioning of Safety Control System for South Pars Gas Development Facility, Iran
  • Designing and Commissioning of Process Control System for Godha II Production Facility, Yemen
